kokoro
Picked up the new Supra today. Big, big smiles. Took a piccy at the services on the way home. Check out my dog photobombing! Very happy with car. Been pampered prior to my purchase and sub 50k on the clock. Couldn't be happier right now.

kokoro
Thanks for the comments. It's a '94 N/A J-Spec. No plans re power (there's plenty right now for my first forray into Supra ownership). The splitter has a minor crack, so I intend to fix that. The alloys are Works and could do with a re-furb (I'm unsure on finish yet, possibly black spokes and silver rims?). The wipers need a re-furb and the lights aren't as clear as I'd like. Probably get clear sides/indicators. After seeing the plasma dials, I'm tempted on changing those too! Lots to be getting on with...

kokoro
Day four of ownership - still happy . I just don't have enough places to drive. I want to drive everyday and now cursing my car share as I won't get to drive tomorrow. The speedo is waaaay out (see my other thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?268708-Speedo-converter-question ) and I definitely need to do something with the headlights - they've got pretty bad condensation. Wheel update - I took the car to a specialist re-furb company today. They took a look and decided they didn't think they could do anything with my wheels. They could dip and strip them, but have no idea whether they will damage them beyond repair (I'm not sure if this is because they're Japanese wheels??). They advised to either live with them or buy new wheels. Gutted.

kokoro
Thanks I spoke to another engineers today about my wheels. They are too far to pop in, but they've asked for pictures to be sent via email which I've done. Closer inspection today found the following - Flaking silver covering on the spokes (this silver is a different shade to the rims). White chalky residue under the flaked coating. Bad repair on a couple of the spokes. Some curbing on fronts. And for some unbeknown reason, the previous owner of the wheels has painted the rim behind the spokes a dark grey (badly by the looks of it). I'm just hoping they can be refurbed. I like these wheels and don't want to have to source new ones. They are 'Works' so I don't know much about their usual make-up or what the coating may be. Fingers crossed they're not chrome plated.
