hackin_n_bashin Posted April 28, 2012 Share Posted April 28, 2012 Got invited to Bruntingthorpe today to have a little play, decided to decline going out myself, the NA is barely ready, and massively outclassed as you can see. Had to leave at lunchtime, and was in the passenger seat of the Ultima GTR when it decided it didn't want to have the oil in the engine, but would prefer to convert Mobil's finest into smoke and deposit it in the cabin. He was running the LS7 engine, and felt very good even in the pouring rain! The drop top R8 V10 was supercharged and running over 700bhp, and Jebus, did it shift in the rain, an awesome machine! And this was a beauty, the owner was worried that he wouldn't keep up and almost didn't run because of it! A little video of them pulling off to follow. Half mile to the first corner, and 1 3/4 ish miles to the speed trap down the long runway with a bit of track back to the start line, Very nice, what event was it? hackin_n_bashin Posted April 28, 2012 Author Share Posted April 28, 2012 I can't see why not, there was one organised by MBOC last week, all I think they did was open it up to other cars to keep the prices down, although if you can run a CLK63 AMG and an SLS I don't think you need to reduce the price!
