Soopra
I believe an R154 is a better option.
Supraleeturbo
Is that the box in the mk3 supra?
Swampy442
W58 will be fine on the stock TT engine. The R154 was found on the mk3 supra, as well as the Soarer, chaser.
Supraleeturbo
Im tt bpu so what box will be better w58 or r154
listy
r154 would be better, but im sure a w58 can cope fine at bpu. Mine is almost bpu (minus fcd and fuel pump) and my w58 copes well. Obviously a v160v161 would be best
Noz
the R154 is a stronger box than the w58. The best gearbox will be the one you can get your hands on easiest that will also hold your required power levels. the W58 will be the best option if you only want BPU levels, if you want 700bhp your w58 will obviously not be the best option etc etc. Unless you want 800+ the v160 isn't the best option due to the cost. Pop 4x R154's and you still have only paid for 1x v160.
