peter richards
dont you think they already have enough strikers
MaveriK
Not that we need him but i think Man Utd are a good bet. Is it a surprise that money is made available just after the reports that he could leave. We have plenty of strikers although they didnt hit the onion bag enough last season. Owen will get you goals but i still think a fully fit Van and Rooney will be an exciting partnership. On the plus side it will REALLY hack the scousers off and that can only be a good thing. If he joins hub cap theft will double in the Snorapool area, you mark my words!
peter richards
the thing is , hes leaving real m because he cant get a first team place , wont that be the same in man u
J4CK50N
If Man Utd sign Owen, which i think is a good bet he will play up top with Van Nist and Rooney will play in the hole behind the 2!!! It will be Louis Saha that will struggle to get minutes Hope it comes off
MaveriK
He was happy to stay and fight for his place last season knowing that he would be warming the bench quite alot. But now Real M have invested again in strikers he has no doubt dropped even further down the pecking order. This is a joke as we all know he is a quality striker. But looking at it from an Englan point of view i would rather have a fit Owen who doesnt play every 90mins to a burnt out, hamstring stretched shell of a striker. monkey76364
It would have to be Man United !!! hes a good player to have !!!
garetheves
Id like to see him come to Man Utd. Think he could form a great partnership with Rooney because we dont need tall strikers no we dont have wingers who cross the ball, we tend to play through the middle. Alternatively, as said, he could team up with Ruud and have Rooney playing just behind. Dont mind really as long as Fergie drops that rediculous 1-up-front tactic that blatently doesnt work!!! MaveriK
4-4-2 is a thing of beauty, not sure why he does 4-5-1 or what he see's in it but when it comes to football you cant doubt his knowledge. We look sooo much better with giggs and ronaldo playing, gives us width which pulls defences apart which leaves gaps which should result in the net bulging. I am perplexed as to why our scouse brothers have nowt to say about their prodical son?

If he joins hub cap theft will double in the Snorapool area, you mark my words! his career must be goin down hill if he's lookin at signin for your lot If Owen wants to sign for the scum, he will. He's gonna be banished from enterin Liverpool ever again but he's always done what HE wants to do which is why he was never as loved by a lot of fans as Fowler was.
