Ricky49
With all my daughters outdoor toys, garden furniture and supra bits I needed more space as my old shed was only 8 x 6foot and bursting at the seams. The plan is to remove my old shed and put in a 14x9 foot concrete base for the new shed to sit on. With working nights I got home in the morning and did a few hours in the garden every day before getting into bed for a few hours kip. I am going for a 14 x 8 foot shed. Firstly I had to remove my old shed and dig out the excess soil Next was to remove a Bramley apple tree and an old fir tree stump. With some old paving flags I smashed them up and used a some hardcore Next I got some more paving flags from work and broke them up There was some steel re-bar mesh left over at work so thought it would do no harm and laid that on top of the broke up hardcore. Next up was the concrete, 2 jumbo bags of ballast, 16 bags of cement, 1 mixer, a barrow and myself I had to do it over 2days as the first day got rained off and I had to cover the area over Next up is to order the shed, paint it, re turf the back lawn and fit a new boundery fence to the rear of the garden with feather board wooden posts and gravel boards which will be happening over the forth coming week. We couldnt see that until last November, two houses down from us they used to have 40-50ft fir trees so we couldnt see the mess for the tree's. Robzki
Now, tell me, how *exactly* do you get the stripes running RIGHT up to the edge of the decking? Still not recovered from being on the roll I assume, It may be a rough area and the turf needs to be rolled up and taken inside at night.
