erol_h
Im currently looking at buying a new car and have found that its bout £200 cheaper to insure at my mums house than mine. I will use the car at weekends and my parents are 10mins drive from me so its no hassle to have the car stay there. Is this ok to do or will the insurance cause a problem as i dont want to invalidate my policy.

As long as you tell where it is being kept then there will be no problems but they tend not to like cars being kept away from your home address. Chris Bailey
Kinda of topic - But i was looking at possible cars for my first car for when i pass and I'd like some sort of jap car. Few I've had in mind - 1995-1998 Honda civic - Toyota starlet 1.3 (Hopefully turbo ) I got a quote today from Adrian Flux for £32000 on a B16a Civic EK. WTF!!! Ahh that's a coded message mate let me decode it for you, right it says we would politely like to inform you that we don't want to insure you. Dnk
My car is kept at a differant address from where i live, the insurance know and isn't a problem and hasn't made any differance to the premium.
