Chris Bailey
Will you be on bonus? If so, the Police are an awesome garage to work for. Sussex get a DAY to do a service and front and rear shocks!! Bang 2 through a day mate then you're doing 200% a day! ;-) Also, aren't Essex home of the Interceptors? Might get to work on some nice cars mate. Well done! Im hoping a nice evo 10 will roll in the garage one day haha. One of the guys im working with has a 200sx and he claimed its making 560bhp (Kinda high i thought for a SR20 motor)
Robzki
Congrats Chris, A great move, I did my apprenticeship on vintage/veteran cars way too many years ago and then went on to do recovery etc for the rac, police etc and it set me up well to now be a.....farmer Part of life I guess, I now enjoy working on my own vehicles rather than getting paid to work on other peoples. I'm not sure I'm better off now though
Abz
Congratulations Chris, I started off working at Deloitte's when I was 17 on a similar sort of scheme. Well more to do that I was an utter nerd (obviously with good looks), and had an attitude that anything in life is possible as long as you want it. Next week I am working out in Florida & staying at The Ritz, I never would have dreamt that 10 years ago nor think it was possible for me to be doing that. So although work might be hard, and some days you will feel like giving in, remember to stick to & if you need reasons why, just read the above again, the hard work does really pay off in the end. You just need encourage yourself enough, listen a lot & put 110% effort into everything. Good Luck
