Aero-M
I have been spraying models with rattle cans now for years and think im quite good at it. I got a 50 litre compressor today as I want to try spraying my motorbike, I need to know what would be a good gun and also best paint for me to use. Kaan W
I got a spray gun but unsure of the make mate, I think I used some sort of cellulose based paint when I done my car. I`ll check the make of gun later
Colin-mkiv
I used a gravity fed Clarke one for years....ideal as they are HVLP too.
RCK10
Take a look at the DeVilbiss range. Very good spray guns in my experience http://www.devilbiss.com/Home/tabid/969/Default.aspx/

edge
I don't know what the pro's use now but my old man gave me a DeVilbiss and it was nice to use and was my first gun
Aero-M
From what I can make out on the internet it would seem a gravity fed gun would be best as a beginner, also one that works on low pressure as the bigger ones need big compressors. Hopefully someone can confirm this for me.

Chris Wilson
I've had a DeVilbiss (sp?) for donkey's years, it's been dropped, left uncleaned for weeks, and generally neglected, but can still turn out a nice finish when the mood takes me. I am not a brilliant sprayer, and dislike painting and all the prep that goes with it, but the gun made me better than when I had some el cheapo thing. Robzki
DeVilbiss here too, although the sealey gold series is 'ok' for an ok finish or primers. Get on ebay and pick yourself up a s/h DeVilbiss, mine was £30 from memory a couple of years ago and the difference between it and a sealey is night and day.
