listy
Attached is a picture (done in paint so not great) of the exhaust. The piece circled in red is the piece that broke yesterday. It was a kind of bendy/flexible metal pipe (thinking it may have been a bodge, as the two ends of the correct pipe are still there, this was heat wrapped and jubilee clipped in place!!!) Is this the second decat? Think it connects to the down pipe, but not 100% as I'm still learning. The bit im looking at goes up towards the engine bay. Robzki
Looks like the 1st cat. is it a horizontal pipe or is it aimed upwards at 45deg

Robzki
1st cat then, go for stainless if you can. There may be a metal bracket joining the cat pipe to the gearbox/bellhousing but these often get broken or omitted when the cat is replaced. If money is tight get an original 1st cat and hollow it out, that way it is guaranteed to be a great fit Rob
