Funny old lady

Had a funny moment yesterday when i was in halfords car park, was sitting there in the supra trying to figure out how my new air freshener worked when i had a knock on the window. I opened the door and it was an old lady, in her late 70's i would say, she said " i love your car ! " to which i replied " yeah its a toyota supra imported from japan " thinking she didnt really know what it was. Boy was i wrong, she went on to explain that she knew it was a toyota supra as she had a TT back in 1995 but she had to sell it as she was getting too old for it, she then said she now has a 500bhp imported MR2 that she keeps in her garage at home as she dont trust driving with all the other road users so she usually takes it out at night. she showed me pics of it, she had racing wheel, roll cage, racing seats THE LOT !. So the moral of the story is dont judge a book by its cover and your never too old for speed haha

Its wierd round my way, you often see old people driving round in pimped up saxo's etc

Saw an elderly couple in a Focus ST the other day, sadly blue not orange.

Have a feeling they went to the showroom to get a Focus and the salesman got them to buy the most expensive one.

But they may be nutters, who knows? :)

Ha, ha cool old girl. Reminds me of a barn conversion I was doing years back and the olod lady who owned the land had an MG GT, one of the last off the line. One day she said she was taking it back to the dealers because something was wrong with it. She had been flat out in it on the M4 and a Cortina passed her, would have loved to see the service managers face.
