Shane
Anyone else suffering isdn outage today? I have 5 sites down now. "The number you have dialled is not available" when you try and make an outgoing call. Just called our provider and they have been inundated with fault reports since about half 2. We suffered a large BT outage last week, people had broke into an exchange and stolen a load a cabling for the copper BT had to reroute all the traffic which took a while. Branners
Yep, had the same thing, but oddly enough only on certain providers. I could call the numbers from my orange mobile, and our Norwich phone company could call the out of action numbers, but calling from specific sites failed. Fixed itself by the time the support chaps called me back. there was a storm rumbling across London at the time, lightning scares the willies out of me on a technical front. Something you cannot really plan for.

We must have missed that one...fortunately. Yep, had the same thing, but oddly enough only on certain providers. Yes thunderstorms cause us concern too, especially as we have dish farms bonded to LPS's, at least the more recent fibre based systems show some resilience. Branners
Our failover is WIMAX microwave, so lighting hitting the base and the fibre going together is a worry!! Hence why I'm shifting all my servers in a little over a week out to a hosting centre outside the M25.
