2jz gte engine for NA-TT

Mate i have a highly uprated TT engine built by SRD - bottom end is all uprated except oem rods and pistons.

Also got a stage 2 SRD race head available and SRD race cams also depending what your after

you would be better to install oil squirters in a GE block and save yourself a huge amount.

 

Exactly what I was planning on doing but the car will have a GTE block in already so dont need this now.

 

Block £100

Squirters £50

Machining £50

 

Alot cheaper :)

well iv actualyl jsut found an aristo 2jz gte vvti so im going to go that way, i jsut need the sump then.

 

the guys im getting it from seem to know what they are talking about. I jsut dont know where this thing is about the engine not dropping in some peopel say its identical and some dont.

Are you planning on keeping it vvti?

 

The pistons and rods are weaker on the vvti engines.

realy,

 

bloody hell, i just want a TT engine that fits with no issues.

 

Why is it so blood yhard to find one.

How are the rods and pistons weeker? what do you mean by weaker? do they melt is the engine not as tunable

 

im only intrested in going bpu.

If you only want BPU why don't you just go NA-T? Loads cheaper.

 

Loads of VVTi's go to BPU without any issues.

 

Hows that? I thought na/t cost lots more than doing the tt swap and then bpu the tt put together
