Slicknick
It would normally suggest the mechanism has jammed or got caught on something, have a look underneath if there is anything obvious. Mine did this when in caught on the rubber bumper strip.

fastcar
yeah i had the same problem with the red triangle light and green flashing light. It was the spoiler jamed after driving home in -8c the spoiler had iced up and wouldnt come down i just gave it a few kicks and it sorted it. I doubt it will be ice causeing your problem but the reason will be the same
Guest Kirk200
Sounds like you have this sorted out... can you attach a picture of the red warning triangle light on your dashboard? Is this a spoiler-specific light, or the general warning light for the Supra? The reason I am asking is that I am installing a full active spoiler system on my car (wiring it up now), and one item I haven't sorted out fully is the location of the error light/signal from the spoiler ECU. A dashboard picture of that light (and the adjacent warning lights) would be really helpful for me... Thanks! - Kirk Update - I did some more searching... sounds like it's the main red warning light in the tachometer... interesting, since the schematics I have from the Eurpoean Supra Maintenance Manual seems to indicate there would be a unique (dedicated) warning light, just if the spoiler ECU detects a problem. I guess it also flashes the green LED in the switch assembly as well... Edited April 26, 2012 by Kirk200 more info found...
