hey guys, we tryed to fit This Bee R rev limiter to my car yesterday, we Did all the intstructions (wiring) that we found for my Ecu , But then when it came to be tested.

It seemed that what ever setting we had it on, it would only Rev to 3k Rpm ,

has anybody on here Use one or have used, Which could tell me a step by step Instructions.

Thankyou,

I'm not sure many will admit to using one!

I was quite amused when I went to try and search for threads with BeeR and of course all I got was threads about beer :)

:) i know.. i bet you theres a few people using them, I need one as my car has no limiter, so its just to be on safe side :)

I used one years ago and it cost me my engine and turbos , my best advice is pull it out and sell it , I did abuse it and loved the pops and bangs but it was an expensive toy to have in the car and I regretted it

I heard it can mess with ya car, depending on what setting you have it, I was just going to have it set up High rev ( 7.5k) and gain on 6-7....

So it would only Pop if I hit the limiter?

I think people that have it on setting for 3k Revs and gain on F, Blow there cars up?:)

I used it when drag racing or racing in general as it was easy to get the revs up for boost , it was connected to the handbrake so a little lift and it hit the low limiter then when I dropped the handbrake the revs were high enough for boost, sadly I loved it that much I abused it so I've only myself to blame but I would strongly recomend not fitting it, also you have to remember sometimes holding the car closet to the red line doesn't mean ull get maximum performance through the gears So technically you dont need one unless you have an expensive engine and are to busy looking elsewhere to notice the needle at the red line

Hope this helps

what engine was it on?

i ran one on my CA18DET 200sx and i loved it :)

co-incidently i blew that engine up too lol. however mine blew up as the turbo seals were shot, and i burned off all the engine oil and the bottom end went.

i thaught that they damaged engines with rocker arm stoppers only? (whatever the hell a rocker arm stopper is!)

im not sure if id have one on a 2jz GTE, but yea it was class on my 200sx :)

one time i hit the limiter, did a huge bang, a woman fell on the floor and dropped her shopping everywhere!! it was a mental sound :)

Was on my 2jz lol piston rings fried head gasket gone and turbo seals all blown away lol the engine was run great until the bee r although I'd say I might have needed a rebuild and the bee r just out the finishing touchs to it haha

That's why I now have a fully forged bottom end with everything replaced bar the cam shafts :( I ran out off money

And the bangs and flames from it on a 2jz were epic machine gun fireing is the only way to describe it
