teddan
I am going to built a 1000hp single turbo. So this will be my building thread. I bought the car last summer. Last owner was a truckmehnical guy but nothing was done properly and it was not finlized. The cables for the fuelpump was just scaled and wiring togheter so the fuelpump was running randomly it was also running on the first ignitionstage...not good. The car is a 6speed with a greddy trust kit but some parts will be remomved because we are going for 1000hp:p -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NEW SETUP 2015 Engine Cp pistons (20 over) Upgraded wristpins (0.250 wall thickness) BC sportman rods with ARP625+ (Should be same as Brian Crower Pro Series Rods) Titan billet main caps with ARP bolts ACL Race bearings Main L19 bolts Brian Crowe 280 Race Cams Brian Crowe Springs and Retainers kit Titan Cam Gears Welded timing gear Billet Tensioner Greddy Timing belt VAG ignition coils 1.5mmm cometic headgasket Fuel Setup Bosch 2200cc Dual 6AN PTFE Feeding lines 6AN Retur line 2xWalbro 450 LPH Aeromotive fuelpressure regulator Flexi fluel sensor Engine mangement MaxxEcu Plug In Google Nexus7 GEN2 tablet to MaxxECU MaxxECU PWM module Ethanol sensor for fuel temperature and ethanol content Exhuast and Turbo Precision GT42-7675R 2x44mm TIAL wastegates, 1bar springs Custom made exhaust manifold in stainless steel. 4 Inch SS downpipe and midepipe Garage Whifbitz 4" S/S Supra Exhaust Twin Box Big KN air filter Transmission Clutch RPS Billet Carbon Triple Disc V160 gearbox Torsen LSD TRD 6 Speed Gearbox Mount 3.5" driveshaftshop prop -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2012 spec It will be running on E85 Setup for the moment Engine mangement Aem v1 for the moment Trust intercooler Wilsson intake 3,5 HKS fulrail HKS DLI Trust Turbo 78 Clutch RPS billet Parts orderd Titan Motorsports Dampend 2JZ-GTE Crank Pulley Titan Motorsports 2JZ Cam Gears Brian Crower 2JZGTE CAMSHAFTS Race 280 BC Springs and Retainers for the 2jz (B0300) ARP Main Stud Kit For MKIV Clevite 77 Engine Bearing Package for the 2JZ Supra CP Pistons for Toyota Supra MK4 (20 over) Brian Crower 2JZGE Sportsman Connecting Rods Toyota OEM Supra MKIV (MK4) 2jza-gte Engine Gsket/Rebuild Kit Greddy Timing belt Running belt Part to order ARP L19 main caps?? JamieP
Good luck with it. Best add some brakes to that list, look like j-specs in the picture? If you want any chance of laying down a 1000bhp on the street you are going to need a serious wheel/tyre setup. I know of a very nice turbo for sale

Nodalmighty
Aeromotive A1000, I also believe Weiand make a monster fuel pump that can easily cope with 1000wbhp. I've never been a fan of multiple fuel pumps, if you can get a single pump to do the job, do. Lyndon.
teddan
Parts under way to machine shop Balance Unfortunally the owner before mounted the new RPS clutch, and it seems like they have grinded the hole from paint so now we have a gap of 0,1mm on the axle . So we will make the hole bigger and fit a schim so it can be centred. I bought aem control soleniod 30-2400. Do anyone knows if I can buyt a controller and gauge unit as well and connect it to? teddan
Painted! hmm I got a package A really nice thing Jamie P old one New bearings I did not have any V-blocks so putted all the main bearings in. Maybe I just should put in the end bearings? My biggest runout was 0,025mm. Up to 0,06mm are OK Then I mounted the thrust bearings Just mounted the old main bearing bolts by hand Thrust bearing check Then just pull the crank up and zero the DTI and then putted the crank down. I got 0,11mm and manual accept between 0.020mm and 0.220mm. OK This is my first engine built so I take huge amount of photos so if you see something wrong or something I forgot please write it Thanks Edited July 23, 2012 by teddan (see edit history)

teddan
parachute brake seems to be a good ide No I did not read the terms I just thought it was NL01 For the moment the workload on my job is high so the progress with the car will be slow for a while..... teddan
ARP for the main bearing in and fitting the main squirters Checking the main clearance. Mine was in the upper level around 0,040mm. But I will leave it like this due to the high performance on this engine. Maximum allowed clearance is 0,060mm I bought a scale to check the pistons. Amazing result. Check this.. pic heavy! So next task is to set up the ring gap. Thinking of going in the dragracing class
