Pig
Wondering if anyone can help. Uk auto diff removed and replaced with manual j spec diff (cooler motor removed) Car started and ran for 10 mins and conked out. Now the car blows the ECU fuse straight away when you turn it on. Meaning no power to the dash 2 or fuel pump. Power still going to boost controller etc. Diff cooler fuse removed but it is still doing it. Any ideas please? D8MOA
how many wires go to the diff cooler/pump? have you looked to make sure non are shorting or the connector isnt wet etc?
Chris Wilson
You have maybe done something with the temp sensor wire for the UK diff, the pump is ecu controlled, and switches with regard to oil temp from a sensor prob in the diff casing, as far as I recall. It probably won't like strange signals down the ecu temp sensor input.

Chris Wilson
The 5V line is probably grounded, for some reason.
Pig
For anyone that followed this - The fault was the fuel pump ECU had failed. For the time being, I have bypassed the ECU and linked the pump direct to the ignition. The only problem is that the Race Logic Dash 2 has now failed...assume there is no way these can be linked???
