teddan
Next week my cylinder head and block are going for modification. The block vill be drilled to one oversize. Is there needs for more modifications on the cylinder block due to it will hold hp1000?

mwilkinson
I think the general concensus is if going for the magic 1000bhp mains would be advisable. It's all debatable though so your choice at the end of the day. I had my engine rebuilt for around 800bhp and did not feel the new for billet main caps. But I did go arp main and rod bolts. teddan
I am an thinking of going main caps anyway but normal I follow some thread there engines has been built for 1000hp without caps. Also supra-jessica will go for 1000hp without caps. There will be ARP bolt But do I need to block decking?
Dan_Turism0
i would have said at that power level you are going to want L19 headstuds as i believe you are well into head lift territory
