scooby_doo_do
Bought my mum one of these about 5 years ago, and had it no problem.. All of a sudden it decides to stop working - as in no answerphone, no address book, no email.. It now just rings in and out.. Had a quick look on the web and it seems that if you don't subscribe to adverts etc, they disable all the features on the phone.. What a big con.. I'm not sure how they can stop you getting into your address book when its your own personal data? to me thats really out of order. And why's it only done it now after so many years use? So now my mum has to try and find all her contact numbers some other way as she can't get them off the phone...Doh.. Was going to call Amstrad, but its a 25p a minute premium line number... w*nk$rs. Rant over.........
Green Peace
I seen those things in the shops...always wondered how they worked...I remember Amstrad years ago used to make Hi Fis that fell apart and Word Processors.. What a con...
scooby_doo_do
Yep, think it works out at 17p a day to recieve adverts on it.... You don't want the adverts so you diable them.... 5 years later, they disable your phone..... Nice one Amstrad... I take back anything good i ever said about your spectrums....
