DodgyRog
I have just brought my Supra home from it's winter sleep and for some reason the Front Fogs are not working The Headlights have been put back in today, but I have checked the Fuse in the engine bay fuse box and it is fine, is there anything else it could be, just would be a bit odd if it's both bulbs at exactly the same time I am useless when it comes to Electrics, especially random things Any help appreciated, please explain in DumDum mode:blink:
David P
They only work when the others are turned on.
Noz
fog lights only work when the side lights are on, he must of known that :O# check the voltage on the lights when they are turned on. there is a small grey plastic clip that connects to the light, one of the pins are the positive for the fog lights. the side lights use the same earth wire. see if its triggering, if its not the bulb it will help you make sure its the system. then you can trace it further back the line. DodgyRog
I knew about needing the lights on, but thanks anyway lol I don't have a volt meter, I think I may have one of of those screwdrivers with a bulb in somewhere, I guess that will be okay
Noz
it will at least show u if the circuit is working at that point. after that, you need to find the fuse and check the point there. as well as checking the fuse itself. ur super driver shud work there also

Pulley
When your sitting in car, turn sidelights on, then switch fogs on and off and listen for the relay to click, that will rule out your switch and relay side of things mate

DodgyRog
Well it was the bulbs (well done Brendan) they look fine with the naked eye though. Odd for both to go at the same time, but it gave me the kick up the bottom to fit the HID fogs I have had sat in the cupboard for about 2 years:rolleyes: So I now have the full set of HID's with LED sidelight:cool:
