Gaz6002
I'm am extremely excited about this car We're talking fairly substantial BHP from a V6 engine, RWD, £55k, Jaguar interior and excellent driving dynamics. It's going to take Porsche's Boxster on with the roadster version and then the Cayman with the later hardtop. Both cars are the best in their respective classes by an absolute mile so it's going to be an interesting fight. The platform will also be built to take V8 and hybrid powertrains... an 'R' or 'R-S' version would really be something to behold.

It sounds very much like a Mercedes V8? Will this replace the XK range?
Gaz6002
Nice!! What engine is in the advert Gaz? It sounds very much like a Mercedes V8? Will this replace the XK range? No, it'll slot in below the XK and I'd expect the XK to jump up a bit in price and performance/quality to make room for it. I think the car in the vid has the V6 they're building for this car. Personally I hope Jagar are not going down the route of BMW & Audi & throwing in models between models (if you know what I mean), they have picked themselves up in recent years & built some great cars. Hope they can do the same in the years to come. Car sounds lovely too!
