"timing" in the fuel/heat gauge?

Hey.

I changed my speedo etc last year and after that I have not gotten my fuel gauge or my heat gauge to be working correctly.

I have followed all instructions and the rev+speedo works fine, but fuel etc is dead.

Any ideas on how I get these working again?

cheers.

Ive been taking them off and on several times.

Temp gauge hasn't been working since I got the car so I am going to change the the sensor.

The fuel gauge was working fine before I changed them but then it only worked on half speed and I've tried it sveral more times without success.

Was wondering if there is any standard point to put the needle at when having the battery off or something....
