teddan
Due to the answer of jamieP the option is to have 2 boost setups. One for 800 and one dragracing 1000
Ricardod
Thats what i was going to say just use 2 boost setups. 1 setup for the lady or daily driving around 700-800hp on low boost and a killer 1000+ hp boost setting for when u want to go mad. Pig
You make it sound like its so easy to push 1k. IMO running a setup capable of 1k on low boost to only get 800 would not give a true reflection of a well setup 800 car. Choose your target, build to that and low boost is purely for the mrs and when it's wet. Maybe ultra high boost for drag racing etc

A perfect 800hp machine will be more fun then a 1K machine running on 800hp. I have never built a 1K machine before so this will be intresting even if I blow the head until the moon. Noz
I think you should go as far as your wallet will allow. That way you have to settle with the outcome either way. Or meet it in the middle, aim for 800hp. I'd settle for 600bhp any day.
Nic
The other consideration is how much you want to spend, 600hp is relatively easy to achieve for £10K+, 1000hp will cost you many times that to do properly.
teddan
The 500-600hp as almost accomplish when I bought the car. The last part was to tune the engine probably. Now I have bought new rods, cams, piston ect....So the bottom will be capable for 1200hp. The last thing that has to be bought it a new turbo. The big problem is to get it ready this summer.
