jazz1
Not really because the mat is heavy I leave that rolled up outside, the top half I put inside .
hemmjonny
Not really because the mat is heavy I leave that rolled up outside, the top half I put inside . When you roll up the top part does this not get dirty as it has been outside in the wind and rain and then you have to put it ontop of your car? Fold the top section with the dirty outside together in half before rolling from the middle My dad has one for his classic Jag - fantastic solution! Depends how you roll it, if you roll it without care then yes, but my cars always still clean, I have no complaints as I tried loads of expensive covers before this solution. Lbm
Is that not a pain in the ass if you just want to go for a drive?? No. I believe he takes it off first.
jazz1
It cost under 10 pounds a year check the website, runs on two built in fans, honestly its the best system if you do not have a garage.

garethr
Perhaps the planning department would let you have one of these L1qGV-9uNG0

garethr
I think the problem is that, generally, you won't be given planning permission for a garage in front of the "building line", which is usually the front wall of the house.
SupraStar 3000
Another vote from me for the Carcoon. BUT!!!!! Fek that! for your new car i'd kick the miss's out and keep it in the house. No way would I keep a car like that outside.

You can bolt it into the concrete so it stays in place... not too bad aprice either for the standard Polyethyene material. Quick question how long and wide would i need to make the car fit in easy enough? i think they do between a 15-18foot long and 5-7 foot wide. jazz1
15ft-18ft, you only need 15ft long especially with the bodykit.
JamieP
Can you not just extend your garage forward using the same garage door?
Jamesy
Can you not just extend your garage forward using the same garage door? that would be my 1st choice mate but i think i'd need planning and i've done 3 extensions already and i dont want the front of the house looking bad with a long extended garage sticking out front.... but yeah taking the garage door off and building out another 12 foot would be great - we've got about 4 foot left of the old garage as storage!!
