Geezabloke
No not those Holiday blues... Those annoying runs you get when washing the car. Its reallt starting to get to me, whenever i wash the car i always get water runs from under the door mirrors. I dry the car and 2 minutes later a run, i dry that off and 2 minutes later a run......this goes on and on until it strat raining and i give up......arghhhhhh Is this a comon thing or do i need to put some sealant under my mirror mounts. Aint it surprising the little things that can really GRATE on you? or s it just me?..... Dave
Stu_Fraser
Wash the car then take it for a spin, it gets rid of all the water trapped everywhere...... Then polish it, its what I do everytime i wash the car.
TRD3000GT
Im seriosly considering a £150 air compressor... Having one of these you can literally blow the car dry, I have a friend who used to have one of these and it was crazy to watch. He could wash the car down with turtle wax soap and wax stuff and then instead of drying it off by had he would just turn on his air compressor and with an air gun dry off the car in about 2 minutes... Not a single streak, smudge or anything... Its much easier to polish a car as well if you have removed all water from it, One of the most annoying places has to be under the windows seals and the rear wing as water gets trapped between the two... attilauk
just use some kitchen towel on the problem areas, its a lot cheaper than a compressor!

I know its great to blow out water from mirrors and all those HARD to reach places....

Stu_Fraser
Is that a good idea? how long of a drive? Just a couple of miles, doesnt seem to pick up any dust..... After the drive, i give the car a quick once over with a chamois then polish it. Always looks good after ive finished
