Jellybean
I have the battery relocated to the boot , can I use a Halfords Calcium battery inside the car? My friend has one in his R33 Skyline but since the Supra is a Liftback is it dangerous to use it inside? Just looking for alternatives to getting a yellow top Optima battery, Calcium battery is readily available over here and a fraction of the cost plus has an longer warranty
add heywood
I have been using a "normal" Halfrauds battery in the boot for a while now, and I "think" I'm still fit and healthy lol

hodge
I had a battery leak on me in the boot. The fumes smelt like rotten eggs. I'll never forget it. If it were me, I'd use a sealed battery. Better safe than sorry.
Colin-mkiv
The fumes from an acid battery are poisonous and it doesnt take a lot to kill you off, also flammable gasses are given off by them and if you smoke in the car or if theres a spark etc.....you can end up being BBQ'd.
