I can't wait to see this at Dragonball, saying that I might not see it once you get your foot down lol, not with my stock TT power anyway, I'll look like I'm going backwards!

70mph is the same no matter what you've got under you :D

Mega spec mate love it

Ta mate. Looking forward to it.

Living the dream :D

Spending the dream!

Whoah, sounds like this is going to be the nuts.... especially twin setup...

Looking forward to this little monster :D

Well, you can have a look at Dragonball if you come!

Nice to see another big twin setup on the forum. Sounds like it will be quite the weapon

Twins are defiantly something I need to look at in the future.

I love the delivery of mine, very, very smooth and linear.

Sounds great johnny, superb spec.

Cheers Mr P. Just hope you can keep up :D

Thanks George. Motivation for a Stage 2 for yours?

Don't remind me about the kitchen. The works starts this monday. Ana's cooking for 4 weeks. The installation is only 5-6 days, but she doesn't know that :D

Indeed mate. The car is epic now. God knows what it'll be like when it's done!

If I make it to the dragonball fancy taking me out for a quick run? ;)

Sure, I can manage that :)

Aye stage 2 of the Divorce. :rlol:

Not yet mate, not had the chance to give her a good driving time, until i do i'll do nothing except a rail for the passenger side seat, and cables for my gauges as there is faulty connection with them, Lee is sorting me some out when his next order comes from the states, no rush.

You only live once!

Nice. Really looking forward to seeing your impressions of the built VVTi, and to see/hear this monster :D

To be honest, the smoothness and delivery is already very good. I just expect the kick on boost to be stronger :)

  • 2 weeks later...

Just taken the car down to Autosport North, where the map was just refined in the low-load, idle and cold-start areas.

Dan has done a great job in just trimming it out. Ryan wasn't able to complete my mapping on the road due to the oil issue, so Dan's done it for me. Part throttle, idle etc is all spot-on now.

Great facility there, and great to see the car back on the Dyno!

Great to see some updates.

I didn't think the HKS Ball Bearing turbos could be rebuilt?

Unless I have missed a post earlier in your thread, must look back through and see if it's mentioned.

Sounds as though you have some major work underway, best of luck with it all will be awesome when complete.

Ah sounds great.

I just looked back through and found this statement

"the HKS Twin 3037's are being overhauled with HTA wheel upgrades, making it the latest turbo technology on there".

These sound like they will be very special indeed, be great to hear some more about them.

Yea - basically, the catridges will be replaced with HTA wheels - similar to the GTX billet range. The aerodynamics of the wheels are current technology, rather than the 20 year old aero in the GT3037's. It effectively means that I should get around ~8-10% more flow for the given pressure ratio. With an increase of a couple of hundred rpm spool. It's win, win for me really. Chachiiing though!!
