drift_bear
As some of you know i've replaced the supra with a lexus IS200 turbo, It's currently running an AEM piggy back along with the standard ECU. I'm looking at getting a new ECU tp replace this set-up and wondering what people recommend and prices of the unit and mapping. Any info would be great Alex
Geo
If Ryan could make up a loom for the Lexus then Syvecs all the way bud. simple as that, all that probably just over 2k

drift_bear
What about the FCon Gold V? I cant seem to find any info out about a loom for the IS though, I know theres a couple on here for sale at the moment aswell. *EDIT* Just seen this on the whifbitz site, can get the syvecs S6 and wiring loom. Would that work with the HKS camp2 system though? Hmm the first syvecs powered IS200 turbo http://whifbitzperformancetuning.co.uk/nissan-pulsar-electronics-upgrades-c-24_33_251_451.html
j_jza80
So long as your OBD2 port has full functionality, the Camp2 will work fine. But I'm sure Ryan would be able to connect it to the Syvecs.
Wez
Syvecs all the way Chat to Ryan about working with the HKS Camp2, it really depends where its getting the data from, looking on the HKS diagrams it would only get ECU data from an FCON so in theory swapping the ECU shouldnt be a prob. Nodalmighty
You will loose the A/C button and dash/clock functions as they are can bus. You have to retain the stock ecu to drive these systems. However, having two ecu's connected to the engine position sensors on this car seems to cause a misfire at 5k. Disconnecting the stock ecu from the engine position sensors stops the A/C button working. All a bit of an a5se really. I hacked a wire into the A/C button and used the Link G4 to switch the A/C compressor clutch when we did the 1G-GTE twin turbo conversion at Silverline, but that's another story . Lyndon. Wez
Maybe the Syvecs could drive the CAN BUS devices using custom can profile, similar to what's been done on the GTR

Noz
Whats your budget. That would be the main deciding factor.
drift_bear
I've not set a budget yet, I need an ecu that can ideally run with the camp2 system OR Keep the AEM and have that re-mapped so its better set up
drift_bear
Just been told that its an AEM FIC if that is any help to anyone and able to shine some light onto how good/easy to re-map or just sell on

Is the CAMP2 system important to you? If not, Syvecs + Toucan interface.

And an excellent job you did as well mate Though in the rebuild I'm doing at the moment I've removed the aircon completely lol along with the stock ecu Good to hear off you though.
