WaLKeRR Posted April 11, 2012 Share Posted April 11, 2012 my blitz nur spec has broke its come clean off :o from the silencer box it has a clean break god knows how, i was reversing in the petrol station then all of a sudden scrape, i look underneath exhaust hanging down any SS welders in northwest that could fix this ASAP! i will check this page tomorrow as i am off to bed a lil gutted Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Colin-mkiv Posted April 11, 2012 Share Posted April 11, 2012 SS is quite brittle, it has less give than MS. any constant vibration will cause it to snap at a stresspoint. Pulley Posted April 14, 2012 Share Posted April 14, 2012 I recently bought a nur Spec r exhaust second hand and it had a weld crack running almost all the way round one of the silencer joining welds, as I was adding a skid plate I ground out all the welds and re welded with decent rod, seems the welds on my exhaust were pretty contaminated and poor from the factory Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
