Lude Posted April 11, 2012 Share Posted April 11, 2012 right so ive decided to re-fit the air con bracket, as withought one its making my fan belt screech. so i got the bracket like this..... i cant seem to get it to slot into place between the power steering bracket though? heres a pic i drew, imagine as a birds eye view.... the red is the bracket for the power steering pump, and the blue is the new air con bracket should just slot in nice and easy... however inside the bracket for the power steering pump, there is something in the way? looks like its suposed to be there, but its proventing the air con bracket slipping in nicely? do i just need to get underneath the car and hammer the air con bracket in? or the part ive drawn in green has that come out of the power steering bracket hole and need to be pressed back?
