Dnk
Had a very nice start to the day and got £350 i didn't know i was getting from an investment company i had shares in years ago 15 minutes after opening the letter my washing machine went onto the spin cycle and sounded like there was a hammer inside the drum, looks like the drum bearing has gone so goodbye £350 My Zanussi is over 15 years old so i guess i mustn't grumble. Anyone recommend a good replacement that you dont need a degree in rocket science to operate
Ian W
Definitely the bearing? Ours did the same and turns out the weight on the bottom of the drum had come loose. Tightened it up with a couple of rubber washers and jobs a good 'un

Chucky_waR
It sounds like the weight has come loose.. Happened to us too.. The machine was shaking so much it starts to bounce arround..! Just remove the back panel.. Mine had a cement weight at the bottom. You might need to tilt the macine to get access to the bottom nuts..

Bailey.
Probably the drum support in the back of the drum, made of Ali and if it's never been changed it will be well corroded, bearings will be fine and very rare for a zanussi weight to come loose. Replacement wise go for a Bosch with touch buttons(German made)!

Konrad
I do have a Bosch for years, got one for my mum and can't really fault them. Very quiet and well balanced washing machines, easy to setup too
