hogmaw
As per my other thread I'm thinking of LPGing the Supra. The numbers make sense: 10000 miles a year @ 25mpg and it would take only 16 months to pay back the cost of the conversion. After that it's LPG at 75p a litre instead of petrol at £1.50 a litre. Performance figures remain the same. As long as LPG is half the price of petrol, and petrol prices keep rising, it's a no brainer. There are loads of fuel-thirsty 4x4s that use LPG, and my Astra has been on it for years with no problems. The guy near us who does conversions is swamped with orders. letmeshowyou
Do you get the same fuel economy on the lpg as with petrol? This is what's put me off in the past (but no experience to check against!)
mr lover
I have had 2 lpg cars, Audi 2.8 quattro and Mitsubishi 3.0 v6 L200, both ran fine no problem same performance you would not know the difference
