michael
Has he ever stepped back and looked at his generic hairdresser gheymobile? I've yet to meet a car enthusiast who drives a Boxter, they are just a status symbol for those people who want something other than a BMW 5 series. And stuff..... (But I do quite like the S, the others are a slow-assed joke)
Kopite
if he had a GT2 then he could talk. Boxter's are shite!

Digsy
I hate Porsche 911s with a passion - I think they are "lottery winners' " cars. I have a load of cash and need to buy a sportscar, whats the first sportscar that springs to mind? Porsche (or Ferrari I suppose). Boxsters are for people who don't have the cash for a 911 and lack the imagination to look for a more original alternative. ...and for pity's sake. PUT THE ENGINE IN THE RIGHT PLACE!!! Jake
Driving a Boxster, especially an early one, is like driving around with a banner saying "I'd like a 911 but I can't afford one" Edit: Looks like Digsy beat me to it!

Ill bring my uncles £55k Porsche 996 Carrera 2 to any meet and race anyone on here....i know for a fact a stock TT in good running order would whoop it in a straight line AND around corners. Guest chiefvinso
Diz, drive the soop and then make your mind up. I don't normally slag other cars off but in this case I will as to be honest a boxter even an s is a poor mans porsche. There is nothing wrong with having a like for a car but to slag a decent motor like the soop is probably a way of defending your insecurities about what you drive. Get a life pee wee. This is purely aimed at Diz.
Bobbeh
Funny you should say that Digsy, infact the Supra was the most popular bought by Lottery winners when the lottery first came out! Now think about it, you've won the lottery, what car would you buy with all the money in the world.. thats right - a SUPRA Oh - new Supra (UK model) = £40-45k, and new Boxer. what? £27-35? Bobbeh
All the best Porsches are have been turbo powered until the newest generation, and even the likes of the GT2 rely on them. Face it, hes got the lowest step on the ladder and hes thinking hes something he aint!

Irvy
I've never had a race with a porker! Tried to goad a Boxster into having a play ages ago .. but he was having none of it. even when my car was stock...you just sat on its tail when he went for it,waiting for it to pull over into the left hand lane, then you could put your right foot all the way down - byeeeeee....boxters are childsplay!! Burna
Not only does he own a poor mans porsche, he owns a poor mans Boxter! He must be an apprentice haidresser or he would have bought the 3.2 litre (the choice car of any hair saloon owner)
slick
Boxter drivers are the best! I love em all, had a great laugh with a guy in his new 'S' model who thought he could outlaunch and outpull the old toyota next to him at the lights aaaah well come back with a proper porker and maybe you won't fall behind quite so quickly next time Sort him out Chris
Scoboblio
I've personally hated the "city boy" boxters for a while now, just seems to be a generic status symbol choice for anyone with the money. Some models of the 911 are quite nice, but then again at least that's a car with some heritage I've only raced a Boxter once... came steaming up behind me so I hit the loud pedal..... the shock on his face was clearly visible as he got smaller and smaller in the mirror I'd only had the car a week and it had three fully grown adults in it. Typical German engineering... engineered to perfection but somehow they seem to have forgotten about the passion
