Graham1984
Morning everybody, I took my friend to go and buy a NA yesterday that had a toyosport exhaust on it, The car had a stock manifold, whifbitzs 2.5 1st decat, stock 2nd cat and a toyosport cat back. I must admit I was surprised by how nice it sounded to be fair and am tempted to give it a try as well as after looking at this site they are a good cost new http://www.toyosports.co.uk/toyota-supra-mk4-twin-turbo-jza80-catback-exhaust-16499-1020-p.asp My only concern is that I have Barneys old manifold that is 3" exit and a 1st decat all in one, Whifbitzs 2.5 2nd decat and wondered about other people who are full decat and what the noise is like as it is just a straight pipe with the back box. My kakimoto exhaust is very loud with this setup and has a silencer before hand but in the actual backbox someone previously has cut the baffle out and I would guess that is the cause of some of my rasp due to the massive space the noise vibrates in before the exit, Surely this exhaust although nearly straight through would be quieter than mine due to the baffle in the tailpipe dulling the sound before it exits the system. Anyone's advice or thoughts would be great especially on the noise front as although I am pretty much expecting to buy it I somewhat don't want to if it will be the same as my current one. hodge
I've just fitted a toyosport exhaust to my 350Z and also a cat back and 2nd decat to Another members car. There very good quality and the fit is perfect. I was really impressed with the welds and how well then was all put together. The decat pipe, the flanges were welded on the inside and out which suprised me. SO S BIG THUMBS UP FROM ME.

DodgyRog
It's going to be load bud and the rasp will proberbly still be there to some level
Graham1984
The weird thing is my friends one does not seem too loud, I know he has the 2nd cat in and stock manifold but I would doubt it would make that much difference? Saying that though my car is retardedly loud and raspy now so I doubt it could be any worse.

Monkpower
I had that set up. I had the Motoria 3" single box system which is the same as the Toyosport one with full decat. 2.5" 2nd decat and OBX manifold cancelling the 1st cat. It was OUTRAGEOUSLY loud and howled like a banshee on WOT. I didn't mind the volume but it sounded too 'chavesque!' I have the same set up but with a 3" Whifbitz single box system. Got rid of the 'shrillness' and sounds a lot more beefy. Still got a little rasp from the cheap and thin walled manifold though.

It does make me tempted to put the 2nd cat back in to tone it down a bit, I will have to get my mate to take me down the road to decide as I was going to go with a whifbitzs twin box and keep my setup as it is but there is a £200 price difference though between these options. I cant believe the 2nd decat and the manifold which is not much bigger over the whifbitzs 1st decat and stock manifold makes it so much more louder, I was surprised how much I liked the sound of his car with stock manifold, whifbitzs 1st and stock 2nd cat over my own setup, Ironically his car seemed just as fast although I have a cut up bung in mine and a mines ecu lol. Graham1984
Possibly to save some money I am going to try putting the 2nd cat back in and taking the cruddy modified bung out the back to improve the flow but hopefully quieten it down a touch and it will save me getting a new exhaust (Possibly!) I don't suppose you have a video Jake of you actually giving it the beans with that setup by any chance??
