All legal now, taxed mot'd and insured, I'm 80 miles into the run in period and as yet no problems, checked it all over tonight, no problems found which is good! No oil leaks etc!

Installed dip HID's and LED side light bulbs also...

A lot better, the headlights on the 14a's were originally built for HID's so they have the proper projection lense in them which makes a world of difference over normal headlamps, lovely and bright now!

Took out the head unit that came with the car also, the ribbon looks like its gone on it so I'll be fitting a new one tomorrow, also got a battery relocation kit for it, cost me £20 as it was used so it means I can take out the battery tray and put a bigger battery in it as the battery in it ATM is on its last legs and is tiny, currently the alarm siren whines on the Nats due to the low voltage so it needed sorting! :)

Really like driving this ATM, an it feels like its got a lot more to give than my old supra did! Which is a shame, just means I'll have to go TT when I get it back ;)

Another 20 miles and I'll drop the oil and swap filter, then another 100 miles then I can see what it's really got ;)

Can't wait! :D

Well, after much consideration I've decided to keep this, what with having a little one I need something with a big enough boot, so of I had the supra back I'd have to get another run-about which ATM I can't justify!

This has the best of both worlds, big boot, more space inside than the supra and quite a bit of power! So for what I need it's the better choice!

So in light of this, I've bought a set of clear front indicators...

Also added a boost controller...

Now that's been added its made the world of difference to performance! Very lively, responsive and fun to drive, before that was added I had a mate come over in his NA 5-Speed and we had a little play, it was very close, he said he was redlining it in every gear as was I to stay on my tail, so now this has been fitted it feels a hell of a lot quicker than before!

Next up will be a set of Nismo 555 injectors and a stage 2 H-Dev chip which should see me into the 300 club then!

There's a few problems that need ironing out, the front brakes squeal like pigs when they're hot and where the intercooler pipe enter the engine bay on the hot side from the IC it rattles, so these need attending next up!

Hopefully I'll be able to get some Coilovers before my holiday in July also but that might be pushing it slightly! :(

I've also decided I'm going to get wider front vented arches and rear over fenders also to give it a more aggressive look ;)

You going for a top mount set up? so much easier to work on. Also did you use the nissan lock tabs for the turbo exhaust flange as they are bitches for blowing after a few trips.

I did have a brand new holset top mount setup, but as I thought I was going to sell it I thought it was pointless fitting it and spending more money on it, shame as my mate has just fitted it to his car and it's rapid :D

I think I'll just enjoy it for now and get a few bits as and when and fit it next year!
