More updates! :D

Finally got the engine ready to go back in...

Then started to fit it into the car...

Most of its fitted now, gearbox is in and bolted up, new exhaust down pipe is on with decat, all the inlet plugs etc are on, fuel lines sorted , engine mounts are tight.

What's left to do...

Fit intercooler pipes, one needs a nipple welding on for waste gate, I'm running "pidgeon" so no BOV!

Refit battery as its on charge

Fill with oil

Add coolant

Fit inlet pipe and filter etc

Undertrays

New alloys

After that, crank it, to circulate oil, put spark plugs in and coil packs/ loom and hopefully she'll fire over! :p

Can't wait!! :D

Looking goid Rob. Really is a good read and just makes me want to get my hands dirty doing something similar. You'll have to get a video when its up and running to totally satisfy me though :D

Should hopefully have one tomorrow :)

It wouldn't fire over, when trying to start it, check spark, fuel etc all seemed correct! So took the lid of, found the chain to be 1 tooth out on the exhaust cam! DOH :D

First time she started...

Checked over and got the wheels on etc and back to the deck...

Nice, always liked these, what will it sell for do you think?

Once the engines ran in and a few bits of bodywork sorted it'll be up for £4300, there's some for sale with more mileage and are complete rot boxes that are up at around £4000, being a low mileage uk spec with a very solid chassis and bodywork it should go for 4k I reckon :)
