It's a silly rule IMO. I'd wear a paper mache one if I could make it look real enough. At 110mph I'd sooner not be wearing one if I had an accident in a lidded car!

ps. DB, I'm there Friday and Saturday night. Not sure I'm actually gonna know anyone who's staying the Friday! What time you guys getting there?

Yes, we do have insurance cover for DRAG RACE participants only. So if it gets rained off then they should get a refund. I need to double check the rules but I think if they do 1 run and then it is rained off they get nothing. So be very wary of the weather.

Sky have kindly funded the insurance policy again btw. Without that policy I doubt I would risk this event.

Superb, thanks JB, I'll confirm that with him now

nope. The drag members will get a refund on their drag entry ticket. They might be able to sign up to drift if there are spaces, but as there are around 60 drag competitors signed up, and only 35 drift spaces in total I dont see how it would be fair I'm afraid.

BPU on stock twins and you wont go over terminal 110mph thus no helmet required. Depends what your running

I disagree. As I said earlier, with really crappy tyres and awful launches I was hitting 107 last year. That was a 14.02 run.

With 888s on this year I should hope to be over 110.

TT6 BPU by the way.
