Guest suprageek
my car is bpu i have jspec brakes i recetly changed the pads to ebc redstuff and bled the whole brake system and replaced the brake fluid with dot 5.1 and i have to say the car stops really really well, i suppose it depends on discs and pads etc, i have chris wilson drilled and grooved discs. JSpec's will always stop you first time from 170mph to a dead stop... just don't do it again so soon! With decent pads\discs\fluids\braided lines they are fairly good, though not a patch on the larger brake setup.

JamieP
Nice looking car, them back tyres look like they are falling off the rim though, would look and drive a lot better with a proper set of fitting tyres.
themodifiedkid
jspec brakes were fine on my bpu, but i had chris wilson fast road pads on which were superb. i really didnt need to change to uk spec. So i would advice the fast road pads first before you go to the expense of a totally new brake set up.

Supra N_A
cheers guys... it also has chris wilson pads all around but still not very good... you say bigger tyres JP?? what size would you go with as there 19s? getting engine mounts fitted next week and a few other goodies
JamieP
you say bigger tyres JP?? what size would you go with as there 19s? Width, in all your pictures the rears look seriously stretched on the wheel and very low profile, a tyre that fits the rim better will look and perform far better.
