luisito-awo
i have a t67 supra with 530 whp i have broken my stock twin turbo lsd, but i have a non turbo diferential.. i am planning to weld it so i can run my car for a while. if i weld the non turbo diferential would it hold the 530 whp on the dragstrip? and i know the twin turbo lsd gear ratio is 3.26.. and i think the non turbo ratio is higher.. what would be the difference on the drag strip? thx

luisito-awo
I have an diferential from an non turbo supra under my supra.. I have a single turbo supra with 527whp.. I have broken my stock tt supra differential... And for now quick we have welded the diferential from an non turbo and put It under my car.. My question are.. Do u know what's the ratio of it? And it will be better or worse for dragracing? And it is now welded.. Do u think it wil hold the 520+whp on the dragstrip?.. I am going to buy the trd later, but this is for now Please let me know thank u
dude
For drag racing worse, you need the large B type diff especially if you are 6 speed

Bloke lives in the Caribbean so will probably get the info tomorrow he did put the question in tech a few weeks ago but must have slipped through the net. JakeG
Most drift cars I see over here have welded diff's, there all pushing around 500+ with no issues, ofcourse that is drifting, not sure about hard launches on drag strip
