Benjy
I've not long come home from my mums place, and the house next door but one has just been bought by someone but they haven't yet moved in. For some reason, their intruder alarm is making a 150dB chirp. There's no-one in. How do I get it to shut up? I don't know who's likely to have keys. I've had a look around the property with my 4 cell mag lite, to see where I'm going, obviously... and there's no signs of foul play so I'm guessing the police will say "not our problem, sleep tight". Anyone got any ideas of how I can shut it up? 'Cause I is really starting to get the hump!
dude
Do you own a shotgun ?????
Benjy
unfortunately not. Got a .22 pistol, could go and wave it about in the street in the hope the po po come out and sort the alarm out. Mind you, at least I'd get a relatively quiet nights sleep!!
Graham1984
Is there not an alarm company box you can see outside so you could ring them up explain nobody lives there and get them to shut it down?? If that works let me know as I may go find some of my neighbours places who have "moved"

Looks as though the fire started upstairs in the pic so I'm sure the lower one was still working at the time of the picture

Graham1984
I'll let you off your neighbours do have bad luck though, have your eyebrows grown back yet? Knowing my luck I could probably cause that just by having/running a bath. My eyebrows are fine as I find it is all about the preparation and splashing of the petrol but mainly the firework I aim in the front door when ready from a safe distance..... Safety first and all that.

Safety first and all that. Don't prepare petrol bombs next to open cook fire, you can end up with 40% body burns. Besides, we have a petrol crisis here you know? And you are wasting a lot of good petrol there! I'm calling your mum to sort you out
Benjy
I'd use white spirit. no traces of an accelerant having been used. apparently. just saying...
Graham1984
Due to the advice of others I will now resort to only using farts and a match in these hard fueling times.
