lol! I knew you wouldn't be able to resist strapping on a big hit of NOS after your gas'd up antics in your scooby. What size jets you going for this time? Did you track down a decent high stall (btw you might wanna think about that boostlogic box or a THM400 conversion if you are still aiming for the power level you told me and considering your current power level the standard autobox won't last too long)? If so where did you get it from and how much mullah m8? Micky T tyres too.... be nice to see a Supra up at Crail doing things properly! All you need that's missing from your shopping list is a line lock. What are you doing ECU wise if you're gonna run NOS - getting the emanage tweaked a little? Or don't think you'll need it?

The mk3 is good - hasn't missed a beat and the clutch seems to be holding out. Started investigating clutch options though - finding it hard to get a decent clutch setup cheaply or to know exactly what I need to replace. Apparently I probably also have a specific HKS lightweight flywheel that matches up to the HKS twin-plate paddle clutch so would have to swap that out too for something like a Fidanza. Considering the cost, getting the plates on the HKS clutch resurfaced might be a better option - know anywhere for that? The clutch hasn't slipped at all since I adjusted the pedal again to give only about 2.5" of travel - so it's either how this kinda clutch is meant to be or the clutch is on it's last legs.

Cheers,

Bri.

Irvine it IS true the stock box WILL outperform the fancy filters all the time..the only way round it is to enclose the filter in a box ..so as not to allow heat soak..and the surface area is bigger on the stock filter..we did the test on the mate's Soarer..and he gained nothing even with his headlight out..he got no advantage from having a pod filter..to having the stock box on it.

Sounds good Tom....... you doing a BBQ again? :stickpoke :eyebrows:

What do you guys think then? Up for a convoy to this Northern meet from say Edinburgh Bypass, say Hermiston gait and we can then convoy along the Bypass and down the A1 from there?

Cheers,

Brian.
