kokoro
Have you tried pricing up on http://www.blackcircles.com ? I've used them for the last 3 lots of tyres I've had. You order online and book in at a local garage, paying one 'all in' fee online. There are also reviews on there which is handy. My current car has 205/55/16 and I was priced between £60-80 per tyre for budget brands (I called about 4 local garages). For about £75, I got Pirelli P6000's. I cannot emphasise what a difference good typres made to the handling and feel of my car, especially in the wet. I would never go down the 'part worn' or budget route again. When you're talking safety, tyres are the only thing keeping you on the road. Don't go cheap. It's not worth the risk.
Dnk
I asked because I checked on there and falkens were about £157 inc vat. I can do them for about £8 more including fitting. Think you need to have another look, the Falken 452's in 235 45 17 are £89.30 + £2.99 del inc vat but are out of stock. You can get Michelin Pilot sports in 235 45 17 for £125.50 + £2.99 del inc vat in stock The rears in 255 40 17 Falken 452's £105.20 + £2.99 del inc vat in stock
