JamieP
I remember thinking that was a cool looking kit many years back. Mate had a dimma 205, crazy looking thing back then, use to get serious attention.

I mean you are driving a sensible car yourself after all

L18msy
Iirc the first few issues of Max Power had a purple Dimma 205 and an Astra like the one above. I loved them. Also a company called Skeete did a few good looking projects around then.
KamaSupra
I quite like that, honestly I do You never see old Astras around these days, let alone any looking like that!!

Colin-mkiv
Yeah it's a Vauxhall and the kit amounts to around 100kg of GRP, but it's cool. Esp if its been built on a 16v GTE.
h89mps
345mm tyres on the back, but it's a FF car.
pezzler
Toyota Supra with modifications jumping the power up to 1000bhp, with loom tuck and extreme minimalist engine bay, different wheels, full bodykit, different seats, interior changes, different suspension, different exhaust, different engine management, different instrumentation..... would it still be considered a Toyota or something else? Should this car be considered just a Vauxhall?

Chris Bailey
Even if the Astra had 300+bhp its still a Vauxhall
ozz
Not sure on that but I was seriously tempted by a BMW 325 E30 with that style kit on it once. Certainly stands out and actually looks like its well made. I dont get the hate for the badge, its no different to Toyota. Though I have currently switched from a 370z to a Corsa and its killing me. Actually, whenever I've looked at VX220s I've been put off by the badge so I guess its just snobbery. Never felt like that with the Supra, but the supra was always such an iconic car for me. Nodalmighty
If you think that looked sexy, you should have seen the Mattig Manta B series https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=mattig+manta&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=rcd&rlz=1R1MOZA_en-GB___GB362&prmd=imvns&source=lnms&tbm=isch&ei=FWF5T4WdCMq90QX10M26DQ&sa=X&oi=mode_link&ct=mode&cd=2&ved=0CB4Q_AUoAQ&biw=1280&bih=832 Lyndon. Is it just me, or did Nissan seriously rip off the Mantas looks with the S14a shape 200sx/Silvia? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=noxwidLG0nk&feature=youtube_gdata_player @0.04, it looks like 2 identical cars are racing
