Dan_Turism0
Hi guys i'm thinking about stripping my rear lights and having the grey surround carbon wrapped and keeping the lenses stock, has anyone seen or done this? I know JP did when he had his LED's preferably on a white car with a TRD half carbon wing
Guest Budz86
Not seen this done but sounds like a good idea. Would be interested in seeing pics as you've now tempted me!

Josh
Check Jamie's threads. Think it was last year's thread that it was in. I've seen someone else do it too

Dan_Turism0
Yeah i've seen those but i'm talking just having the surrounds carbon wrapped but keeping the lenses the same think it would work really well
Dan_Turism0
just a single bump to see if anyone has done this? More i think about it the more i think it will really work well
TheTurtleshead
Imo it does work really well, but then I am a little biased. Sorry it took me so long to see your thread! The pics are a bit crap as they are phone ones, I don't have a decent camera!
Westy
No offence....but I think I prefer the standard facelift grey now that I've seen them!?
TheTurtleshead
No skin off my nose bud! Everyone has to have their own personal taste, other wise we'd all have the same car! Anyone is welcome to have a nose at suprapod if they want. They're hard to capture in a photograph, and I think in person they look miles better, much like flocked dashes etc.. Dan_Turism0
hmmm i'm now really undecided, thanks for the pics i think on a white car like mine they will look sweet especially with a TRD half carbon

TheTurtleshead
Dunno if you can tell from pics, but mine's a TRD full carbon with the ends painted, and a ridox carbon lip. It all works very well together IMO
FOSTA
I like the carbon, but like the turtleshead said they look alook better in the flesh. I think mine look quite naff by picture but I think they look alot better in the flesh, also on a dull day if you stand back they do just look black but if there is alittle bit of sun you can see that they are carbon from miles away

I wonder what the rear light surrounds would look like if they were flocked......
