Dim Sum
I've recently got a custom pipe made to fit around the stock air box. When i got it i forgot to tell him to add a lip of some sort. So i was wondering will it blow off if i connected the pipe up with the hoses and clip or should i use the hairspray trick? http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s154/fightersblue/20120329_180557.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s154/fightersblue/20120329_180643.jpg Or am i over worrying? Swampy442
You'll probably need to get a lip on it, little bead of weld round it will be enough for the clamps to grip.
Dnk
My top pipes got no swaging on it and its fine but its held in place with Mikalor hose clamps. Try local engineering companies to see if they have a swaging tool
