Delboy52
Petrol and Diesel might be off the menu next week or soon after due to possible tanker strikes. Also, an MP slipped up and said stock pile your jerry cans.
CJ
Thanks for the info guys. As I have been a bit busy with the charity stuff, I didn't even know this was happening. Plus I don't have a car to fill up anyway!
Jamesy
Plus I don't have a car to fill up anyway! I'd say unless your lawnmower is a V8 6.0 litre sit on petrol jobbie you prob have NOTHING to worry about with this then mate

Wez
Muppets, all the garages near me are empty already, the proposed strike isnt for another week yet. The fire brigade are going to be busy over easter with all the idiots stock piling petrol at home

marc_p
I'm nearly empty and I'm worried that I'm not going to be able to fill up after work with all these complete idiots panic buying, even if the strike did go ahead, there would probably be little shortage if the roads weren't filled with morons! SteveR
Muppets, all the garages near me are empty already, the proposed strike isnt for another week yet. Have they proposed a date yet? I didn't think they had - the talk about it being at least a week away was because that's the minimum notice the unions have to give before an authorised strike can go ahead. AilsaMX5
shame, if all the garages are empty, I cant get to work! bonus! Yes! Me neither! Hooray for panic buying We're alright in Aberdeen, we just pump it straight from the rigs

neilp9876
Half the stations around wycombe have run dry now and don't get another delivery till next week! Apparently there will be 7 days notice if there is a strike, the govt has managed to create the panic that they were trying to avoid. Muppets everywhere. Havard
I have just had a nightmare getting diesel in Wigan. The Audi was reading 10 miles before I ran out and luckily I joined a queue at Sainsbury's and got filled up. I then have meetings all next week and I am wondering about cancelling them. There is no way I can do a full week of meetings on one tank of fuel and could get stranded. It was my fourth attempt at getting fuel as all the other stations in Wigan had signs outside saying "No diesel". H.
al02uk
We are completely rushed of our feet at the moment. We are delivering over 1million litres a day in London to commercial businesses because people won't stop panic buying. I'm sure someone said it previously, they have to give a weeks notice first. neil tt
It is so very sad, and just a bad reflection on alot of people, because the only people they are concerned about is themselves. They don't care if the garages run out as long as they have some. Sooner or late you are going to run out anyway, so what difference does trying to get as much fuel in your car as possible make. TubbyTwo
I expect it will be a right mission to get fuel tonight, might go to the tesco garage at midnight and hope the queues are gone. Its a real pain the arse the people who genuinly just want to fill their car because its low, not becuase they want to fill a load of cans as well. I can see the price of petrol creeping up when the strike finishes as well, make the most of people rushing out to fill up again. Idiots.
