550 Evo vs 566 supra

ADD

All that power and 4wd, if he doesn't have the clutch and transmission to match then he's toast.

What if he has all that? ADD mentioned "heavily modified". I don't want no damn Evo to show up our beautiful Supra. He will forever brag about it, and post it on his forum, saying Evos are better that Supes. No way!!!!!

Full boost 80mph and the S362 really does pull....

I'm actually gonna ask him what mods he's got and dyno graph to make sure this isn't a pub figure he's come up with!

I'm certainly not gonna go loosing my licence just to race for who got the bigger bollox but I won't be a pussy about it :)

Wez- I'll get ya a plot not pal...

550bhp from a 2 litre 4 cylinder engine. That's some insane work done on the engine!

It's not a massive amount for the 4g63 engine. It's probably one of the easiest 4cyl engines to make great power out of.

Stock they can run big boost on pump fuel.

650cc's and stock cams bruv...

Want to change cams, ecu and gearbox to up boost though.

Have you got a graph mate?

Cheers

Yes, the 4G63 is a strong engine but running over 500bhp requires forged internals. Nevertheless that is a real impressive figure to achieve for a four cylinder engine.

This is the reply on mods:

Running 528bhp on pump fuel and 548 on race:

Fully forged block

Hyper flow large fmic

Full hks hard pipe boost kit

Full hks 3" straight through manifold right back (de-catted with test pipe) exhaust

FP green turbo

Excedy twin plate clutch

Presume uprated fuel pump (but need to check to make sure)

Motec M800 ecu fully set up with launch control and twin stage anti-lag

All sensors running completely off the motec ecu not a piggy back system

RC 750 injectors

Presume cams as well when rebuilt (but again next time I strip I'll have a look)

Hyperflow large induction kit

HKS plugs

Soon to have screamer pipe ;)

All the usual boost gauges, hks turbo timer, ams oil catch can etc
