supraturbochris
Evening. Im in a huge state of bother, as most of you guys now know im undergoing i full 1uzfe v8 conversion in my supra. I picked up the engine about 2 months ago and all was well and good. I have fully stripped the engine, stripped the block and rebuilt, now im really stuck on putting the camshafts back in. I was in such a rush taking it all out i didnt mark anything up, stupid of me really because its normally the first thing i do. I have read a few threads but havent found the info i need. The camshafts are resting on the heads at the moment but when aligning both the intake and exhaust camshafts there are suppose to be alignment marks on the cam gears that runs the exhaust cam from the inlet cam but there is nothing there. I can align the inlet camshaft pulleys to the head but im so stuck on the exhaust cam placement. I know there is a tention sping on the exhaust camshaft which i have pre sprung ready to go back in. I need someone to hopefully guide me though this process pleaseeeeee. Any pictures would be fantastic too. thanks for your time chris

Miguel
Ah, erm, bit odd they're not on there, not like Mr T to do such things. Degree wheel and dial indicator it is then. Have you got the cam timing specs for the 1UFZE ?
