listy Posted March 26, 2012 Share Posted March 26, 2012 Looking at getting a snap off boss (just because i like gadgety stuff ) - more than likely a sparco or momo one. Wondering if anyone here already has one of these fitted, and how far out they bring the steering wheel, or if anyone has an adaptor boss so it sits level with stock. Should fit between the current boss you have and the wheel. You need to make sure the one you buy also has the horn connectors. I have the Driftworks quick release with a Whifbitz airbag delete boss and can just reach the column stalks with my thumb still hooked round the wheel. Tried an eBay slimline one first and it was total cr*p. The screw holes were incorrectly spaced and it wouldn't fit together too well. jake supra Posted March 26, 2012 Share Posted March 26, 2012 I have a drift works one. When you first use the steering wheel with the new realese it will feel a bit strange due to it being closer.
