Here is the Schedule lads Just received it this morning -

Alright George! heres the lowdown for the shoot -

Looking to start shooting at 10:00 on Sunday the 20th May at Hillington Industrial Estate. We're looking for 4 cars if you can get 4 people that would be great! The shoot will last pretty much all day, hopefully wrap up about 7PM but we'll get some snacks sorted for you guys. Are any of your guys up for some simple car tricks? we are hiring a cool camera were we can attach it to anywhere and really show off the briefs. We've not scheduled you guys to be in the video, just your cars - let me know if this is cool. If you's are up for it though, we may take some shots and use them. If you can arrive about 9:45 that would be great. Below is the exact address -

3 Buccleuch Avenue, Glasgow, Lanarkshire G52 4NR

When you Google map it, don't worry about the pics of the place, the maps are a few years old and its a brand new build. I've attached a .zip file for you with pics of the location, looks mint and surface is smooth for you guys.

Let me know if this all sounds good mate and i'll get the full schedule/brief sent out to you tomorrow - just working on some changes tonight.

Im sure though i'll get Gavin to give us a copy of the video. I'll ask the guys to edit it for us, being for STV and all, they will have some pretty decent gear. :D

Track : “It's Over”

Title: -

Concept

It is early in the morning, the sun burning on the Scottish horizon and a burnout crew in “soup-ed” up Subaru's enter the forecourt of a quiet, closed warehouse grounds. They park up, show off the sparkling finish of the cars, admire each other's company and test the capabilities of the cars they have invested in, the N.E.D. crew, tagging along for the ride.

What ensues is a burnout session of the cars performing certain stunts amidst the small crowd that came in the cars. Gav and Kaz perform “It's Over” amidst the jubilation, admiration and controlled chaos of the motor spectacle.

-

Narrative / Structure Style

The video will have a very clean and polished look. Set in the early morning, we get the option of sunrise, giving a very orange glow to the beginning of the video. What precedes the video is a very blue, enhanced but colourful feel, so never at any point, feeling cold.

The skin tones remain natural, saturated slightly but due to the quality of the light through the day, the aim will be to maintain the level of detail for a finished 720p frame with no noise or grain. When filming the vocals, it should have a very rough and ready feel yet still maintain a consistent high level of video quality.

The location lends itself to cold, grey tones. The cars, all different colours, will add the dashes of colour to the overall look, maintained by a certain amount of contrast (amount of tonal shifts in the light) to define the curvature and smoothness of the cars architecture. The beauty and finish of the cars is paramount to add value to the footage.
