Other peoples bad driving habits

If you could pick just one (lets see who is the first to ignore the "just one" statement ) bad driving habit made by other people, what would it be?

For me it has to be members of CLOC - the centre lane owners club. Why the hell they have to stay in the middle lane when there is nothing on the inside (nor outside either sometimes) is beyond me and really boils my urine.

Inability to drive within the road markings or lane!!

I have loads but seeing as you took my first choice, this is my second choice. It seems to be mainly the ones who hog the right or middle lane who seem to do this the most, they seem to slowly drift into the lane or wadded all over the road with no concept of lanes!

Tailgaters, there is just no need for it. The Supra seems to attract them all the time. I just slam the brakes on and watch there eyes go wide in my mirror.
I agree with this, don't get it much driving in other cars but when I am in the Supra they are up my bum!!

The thing that hacks me off the most is the foglight ******************* fill in your own Branners friendly caption drivers. Maybe idiots that don't indicate even when turning right on roundabouts. Come to think about it quite a lot of people in general hack me off.

And the very early winner is....

People who don't indicate. You'd surely fail the driving test if you didn't indicate at junctions, roundabouts (and not just when turning right! Cars are equipped with a left-turn indicator as well as a right-turn indicator), so why the frig do you think it's inappropriate for you to indicate now?

Although it's maybe tame compared to some of the other antics deployed by drivers, this one takes my no.1 spot because it's so widespread.

I had a women nearly crash into me on a mini roundabout the other day, She came from directly opposite and then swung round to her right and nearly smashed into me.... Apparently it is too much agro to put the blinkers on..... Stupid cow.

I'd like it if more people were aware and cooperative when someone's looking to overtake, leaving sensible gaps in a line of traffic so there's the option of overtaking one vehicle at a time, rather than having to wait for an opportunity to pass several at once.

Seeing that the rules of the thread have been broken I must go in order of frustration:

Lane Discipline - Motorways and roundabouts.

Mobile phones. (Get a hands free kit FFS..!!)

People who do not indicate.

People who do not let people out at junctions when sat in a jam. (I have given a few great verbals of late)

People who let people at at junctions when the traffic is flowing and run the risk of a rear ender.

Rubbish being thrown out of windows.

Besides those I am quite tolerant to other drivers.

H.

I limited it as the thread would have died after about 3 posts as that would have probably covered the lot ;)

I think this is the point where we list the bad points, Share stories, and then wind ourselves up.

I agree with H about people never letting anyone out when barely moving, As if them extra few seconds will make any difference so I make a point to let others out especially if I know it is annoying others behind me.

Edit: People who drive at 40mph everywhere and for some reason they are the people that you can never get past due to traffic..... And then they go 40 through a 30mph zone :hang:

Undertaking, diving past people on the inside then just pulling across.

(Mainly because if I did it, sods law that someone would pull left without indicating wiping me out!)

I undertake quite a bit on the motorway, think the record is something like going past 25 or so cars in the middle lane without the need to pull out.

Sorry ;)

school run time does my head in! especially when parents decide to have a mothers meeting and block up the road even more... oh and impatient drivers who think they have the right of way when thier side of the road is blocked so they decide to push thier way past :spank: i have loads as im a generally moody 21 yr old who thinks everyone is wrong but me :D

oh and regarding the tailgaters, when im in the supe if theres someone right up my bum i just drive extra slow and if they decide to overtake..i unleash 581 raging jap horses on them :sly:
